Denounce Illegal Acts
After the elections that happened in Mexico in 2012, the citizens got some distrust about the transparency that existed during these. With this in mind, our client asked us to create a tool that worked as a link between citizens and authorities to report all illegal or suspicious acts with their cellphone.

Problem Overview
The initial idea for this platform was to solve RH challenges. We started to think from HR perspective of the process they needed to go through to hire a new employee
In the previous elections, it was easy to notice that Mexico was disillusioned with the electoral process, they notice a lack of democracy and untrustful politicians.
After the result was showing of the elected president it was easy to know the different illegal practices that the politics doo to win some votes in a not ethic form and got favourable results at the end of elections.
But the elections of 2012 exist a lot of denounces that demonstrate the methods that they use that wen from giving some money to give away some electronic gadgets.
So, how would we make citizens trust again in the electoral process?
Process
The delivery included user experience and interface design for the mobile app for the two principal platforms. In order to create an iconic brand, we started with the isotype that help us to create the storytelling for all the product.
Branding
1. Logo
The client give us a blank canvas with just a name to work on this. So we start a work with the storytelling were the principal characteristics was bring "light" in the electional process with a little help of the citizens. So thats why we choose as a principal element a lamp holder that could expose evil-doers. For the color palette I use neutral non-partisan color palette.
2. Brand Guidelines
I choose a font that remind us the old-newspaper headlines were we notice big and heavy titles that shows a tradicional and serious impression.
3. Landing Page
Understanding the user
Nearly 13 million voters between the ages of 18 and 23 were expected to vote for the first time of which
we can find Mexican Millenials and the so-called Generation-Z who have grown up surrounded by rampant corruption,
were expected to play a key role in the coming elections.
The last campaign season in Mexico become violent so this becomes an important reason to make that people and the
corresponded authorities start to work together to punish the crimes that can happen during the elections.
Citizen Participation in Mexico
The topmost concern was to create an easy-to-use application that could fit the situations in which this product would be useful: recording suspicious activity. The app also integrated a newsfeed, the user's profile, direct access to electoral authorities and features that'd prove useful to citizens during voting processes.
Final thoughts
I like to be part of giving a solution of one of the principal problematics that exist in the elections, is an important start to create transparent and legal links
between citizens and authorities and give a fast time in the complaint process. Is good to use the technology that we always keep at our hands like is the cellphone
to demonstrate the wrong things and start a rethinking in the actual process to start to have democratic and transparent elections in the future.
At last, I like that client have on mind to get a launch planning of the app and in this order got a bigger diffusion on more people to use the app.
